BEE Rating

To understand BEE Rating, you have to look at this in more detail. BEE Rating is done for companies which has a turnover of more than R10 Million and thus do not qualify for a BEE EME Certificate. So basically your turnover determines the BEE Rating process.

The following thus applies for companies looking at BEE Rating:

Qualifying Small Enterprise (QSE): Annual turnover between R 10 million to R 35 million. Four of the 7 elements rated.

Generic Enterprises: Annual turnover above R 35 million . All seven elements rated.

The seven elements above are broken down into the following:
  • Skill Development
  • Procurement
  • Enterprise Development
  • Ownership
  • Management Control
  • Employment Equity
  • Socio Economic Development
